IT2Industry audience corresponds exactly to the Industry 4.0 target group
IT2I at automatica 2016—Satisfied visitors and positive ratings: In a representative survey of visitors conducted by the market-research institute forschungplus, 97 percent said that they would recommend attending IT2Industry to others.

However, exhibitors were also very satisfied with IT2Industry@automatica 2016. Three-fourths of exhibiting companies gave the event a rating of good to excellent. "IT2Industry is a natural platform for the convergence of information technology and automation technology," said Achim Liebl, Managing Director of Softing GmbH. The company was represented at the OPC Foundation stand and the Innovationszirkel Industrie 4.0 im Mittelstand stand.
A total of 43 companies presented their solutions and products in the sectors for the smart factory, M2M communication, industrial software and systems, big data/the Cloud and industrial IT security to 5,200 interested trade visitors.
Industry 4.0 in practice
One of the fair's highlights was the SAP SE exhibit, which included a live demonstrator. It was used to produce customized key chains to familiarize visitors with the principle of the Industrial Internet of Things, as Rüdiger Fritz, Director Product Management Plant Connectivity at SAP, explains: "The audience at IT2Industry corresponds exactly to the Industry 4.0 target group. Experienced engineers, plant managers and production executives in the IT sector found out at our stand how much potential is created when IT and business management work hand in hand."
