Focus topics IT2Industry@AUTOMATICA

IT2Industry@AUTOMATICA is embedded in AUTOMATICA as a trade fair and open conference for intelligent, digitally networked working environments. Its participants present and discuss innovative industrial ICT solutions and services.
Current challenges
Plant and machine manufacturing and its partner industries are facing some major challenges. Customers want tailor-made concepts: Machines should be individually configurable and capable of integrating specific subsystems. At the same time, the industry is facing more and more pressure to make their supply and value structures increasingly international.
Future vision: The “Internet of Things”
The best chance that companies have to survive against global competition is to make use of the industrial Internet of Things and Services. In this regard, digital automation, intelligent networking and self-controlling systems are the most important factors of success.
Integrative marketplace for the age of Industry 4.0
Our new platform brings providers of solutions and services that pertain to industrial ICT together with decision-makers. IT2Industry addresses the following branches of industry in particular: automotive manufacturing and automotive supply, construction, logistics, chemistry, aviation and aerospace, electrical engineering and electronics, metal processing, paper and printing.
International industry gathering AUTOMATICA
Small and medium-sized enterprises are strongly represented among the visitors at AUTOMATICA. A total of 34,493 visitors from more than 100 countries attended AUTOMATICA in 2014.
The next IT2Industry@AUTOMATICA takes place at the Messe München trade-fair center from June 21–24, 2016. A single ticket allows you to attend and profit from both shows. Additional information will be available here in the autumn of 2015.
